Pleasant Pooch fosters dogs from Hounds of the Heartland, Edmond Animal Shelter, and other non-profit organizations. To protect our clients' safety, we do NOT take in foster dogs off the street. We ask that you please do not bring in dogs you have found, as we are unable to keep them here. We only foster dogs that have gone through a shelter or rescue first. All fosters are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, and brought up to date on shots before being placed at our facility.
We are in constant need of donations for these animals. Crates, food, washable bedding, and chew toys top the list of items needed. Please click HERE to donate one of these items!
We also accept donations to purchase needed items, for those interested in making a monetary donation. Please send donations to via PayPal and indicate which organization you would like to donate to.
If you would like to set up an appointment to meet one of our foster dogs, please email us at email@example.com.
Meet Our Available Fosters
My name is Big Mac. I am a neutered male, black mixed breed. The shelter believes I am approximately 1 year old and I have been at the shelter since August 01, 2019.
Meet Big Mac! He is a fun-loving boy who plays well with other dogs. He has a medium/high energy level and is looking for a family who will give him lots of play time. Head over to our office for a meet & greet with your new best friend!
All dogs adopted through Edmond Animal Services have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, have been dewormed, have been spayed/neutered, and (if over 6 months old) have been tested for heartworm disease.
